Always an exercise fanatic and an eager beaver in absorbing new workout schedules, I thought it was time to try out Title Boxing Club in 2024. I had previously heard a lot of praise about the intense classes and the spectacular workouts hanging in the boxing techniques. However, before any contractual agreements, I opted to check all the available pricing about the membership and its features.
Researching Title Boxing Club Membership Prices
Being the tech-savvy person I am, I commenced my appreciable research by investigating the sites of Title Boxing Club membership fees. The first observation I made was that the price is statically presented which will fluctuate based upon the location and type of membership chosen. On average, the monthly rate was in the range of $69 to $199.
However, I found out that generally, 4 main membership levels are present in most of the locations of Title Boxing Club:
- 4x/Month: 4 classes per month for around $69-$99/month
- 8x/Month: 8 classes per month for around $109-$159/month
- Unlimited: Unlimited classes per month for around $139-$199/month
- Unlimited with All-Club Access: Unlimited courses at any location for around $159-$199/month
Additionally, there are class packs for 10, 20, and more classes that can be purchased before the series or throughout it. They let you prepay a certain number of classes that you can redeem during a certain time frame (10 classes in 90 days) also. The class pack prices I saw were:
- 1 class: $30-$35
- 5 classes: $130-$150
- 10 classes: $220-$250
- 20 classes: $380-$440
So all in all, if unlimited is what you are after, expect to spend approximately $150/month on average. If you are looking to go less often, either the 4x or 8x monthly plans or a class pack are likely the best alternatives.
Deciding on My Membership Plan
When I first saw all those options with various prices, I had to think about how much I could afford and how often I realistically projected I could attend classes. Being a newbie, I wasn’t really crazy about committing myself fully to the classes because I didn’t know if I would even follow through.
The 8x/month plan for $139/month from my local club was the most beneficial, helping me attend classes twice weekly. This looked satisfactory to master techniques and get results out of classes. There has been a good correlation between price and worth in this case. I also appreciated that it offered the use of the on-demand online workouts available over Title On Demand as a bonus.
My First-Class Experience
If I may admit to some prejudices, I was nervous before the first class, but soon after, thanks to the staff and instructor, all my fears were dispelled. They just made me take a brief orientation tour, got me some gloves and wraps, and outlined the outline of the class.
Now the workout – the actual workout was crazy! There was a 15-minute warm up which included some jogging, calisthenics as well as some shadow boxing. Then came 8 rounds of bag work where we alternated between different punch combinations which the instructor called out. Warm-up and cool-down stretches were followed by a 15-minute core workout. By that time, I was already soaked in sweat and my arms kept wanting to drop to the ground, but there was this huge smile on my face. The feeling of relieving oneself of doing repetitions on the bag was unbelievable.
Falling in Love with Boxing Workouts
Developing a Romance with Boxing Training I would like to express my opinions about one amazing feeling and that is the feeling of love. The obsession continued after that first class. Two classes each week became something I would really look forward to each week. Most amusingly, not only did I notice changes in my physical stamina and strength, but also an increase in self–esteem. The coaches were very friendly and helpful, and there was a sense of togetherness amongst the other members. The challenge allowed them to work around holidays and vacations as they had a busy schedule.
Around the two-month mark, I chose to upgrade to the unlimited plan membership. Instead of just paying more for its $40 extra that felt unnecessary at first, it soon would make the time worth the effort of going there more often. Whenever I could not go to the studio, I began to make use of the Title On Demand workouts on non-studio days.
One Year Later: Was it Worth the Cost?
As a Title Boxing Club member for the whole year, I must say without any doubt that this has been worth the money I spent on it. The cost of the dues is not low by any measure, but the returns have been worth it.
The sessions are always tough and interesting. I have lost weight and gained muscle and my general level of fitness has improved quite a bit. Even better, boxing has pressed beyond the boundaries of fitness as a means of leisure and self-empowerment. I have made new friends and I feel part of the Title family.
While doing this, I have realized that my unlimited membership’s true worth turns out to be close to 6 dollars per class which is rather reasonable considering the quality of training and equipment provided in the group classes.
Tips for Making the Most of Your Membership
All things considered, if you’re thinking of joining a Title Boxing Club membership and are debating doing so here are a few guidelines I’d furnish to protect you from uneconomical use of resources:
- Take advantage of any free trial classes or introductory offers. Most clubs offer at least one free class to let you try it out before committing to a membership.
- Choose the right membership level for your needs and budget. Don’t overcommit if you’re not sure how often you’ll realistically go. You can always start with a lower plan or class pack and upgrade later.
- Utilize the Title On Demand workouts that are included with most memberships. This adds a ton of value and allows you to supplement your studio workouts.
- Don’t be afraid to ask the instructors for help with your form or combos you’re struggling with. They want you to succeed and are there to guide you.
- Embrace the community and get to know your fellow members. The camaraderie and shared motivation is one of the big perks of group fitness.
Comparatively, a Title Boxing Club membership is more expensive than some conventional gyms, but in my opinion, the distinctive training they offer and the high energy they provide in addition to the results are worth the price. It has become an essential element in my fitness journey and development. For those who have been on the waiting list to try out a new and exciting way of exercising, Title Boxing is the place to go.
The Bottom Line: Is Title Boxing Club Worth the Cost?
In conclusion, Title Boxing Club has to be one of the most economical studios I have come across. Membership fees could, however, depend on the location and plan type of purchase. Of course, I hold that monthly rates usually go from around $69 to $199. The most popular options include 4x/month plans with an average cost of $69-$99, and 8x/month subscriptions costing $109-$159, unrestricted plans that are sold at $139-$199. For those who don’t want to commit to a full membership, there are class packs too.
I understand that the costs seem to be many when compared to the usual gyms. However, I believe the intensive training activities, the environment, and of course the outcomes make it worth it. Most of all, the social aspect and stress relief benefits have been very great for me. Friends, take any offers where they give you a free trial for a week or something to introduce the club to see if it is for you. Do not forget that health is wealth and it will always be worth spending money on, don’t worry about it, Title Boxing Club is unlike any other gym and it will help you achieve your desired results.
